Our optical department includes an optical boutique and laboratory. We have the latest technology for the fabrication, maintenance and repair of your eyeglasses and sunglasses. We tint, coat (UV), harden and edge your spectacle lenses. And we provide you with a huge selection of fashionable frames and any lens design available. Our highly qualified & certified opticians help you to select the best materials for your glasses prescription, and then adjust and fit your new glasses to your personal satisfaction to ensure quality vision and extended comfort.

We prescribe and evaluate all major brands of soft and rigid contact lenses. Additionally, we prescribe and design custom contact lenses for special visual needs, as well as special eye conditions.

 Specialized fitting include lenses for astigmatism, ortho-K and keratoconus as well as a wide array of multi-focal contact lense options, including monovision and bifocal contact lenses. We are experienced in modifying and polishing contacts. Our staff is available to answer many of your questions and provide assistance for ongoing contact lens care, instruction and training.

Nearsightedness, or myopia, if it was a disease, would have reached epidemic proportions in our country some years ago. The process of becoming nearsighted begins most often during childhood, progressing toward adulthood. During these developing years, if left unchecked, a child may become extremely nearsighted, requiring changes in glasses a minimum of once a year or more frequently. Orthokeratology or Corneal Refractive Therapy is a safe and effective way to slow down, or even reverse this progression without any form of eye surgery. The procedure utilizes highly specialized rigid contact lenses that are custom made for the nearsighted individual. When worn as prescribed, these lenses enable a gentle reduction in myopia to take place, often times allowing a person to function without the use of glasses or contact lenses all day long.

We provide surgical services such as cataract surgery and laser vision correction. Additionally, we partner with other specialized eyecare centers to care for retinal detachments/tears, hemorrhages, and eye muscle surgery. We provide these services under a co-management program with affiliated doctors. You, the patient, benefit from the cooperative and combined efforts of multiple doctors working together on your behalf.

Our doctors are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of the dry eye. It is the most common, yet most under-diagnosed condition of the eyes in North America, and is particularly prevalent here in Colorado. Our therapies range from minimal treatment with artificial tears, eye drops, gels and ointments to more intensive therapy utilizing punctal or lacrimal occlusion (partial or complete closure of the tear outflow system). This is done in order to save the "natural" tears of the eye, since most dry eye is caused by a lack of production of these most precious tears. In fact, did you know that these "natural" tears contain all essential ingredients and infection-fighting substances that the eye needs and utilizes each and every day? Therefore, it is extremely important for this system to be functioning at its maximum.
